Class A CDL Local Driver – Home Daily | Shelbyville, IN

Position Overview
We are hiring Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated local grocery account based in Shelbyville, IN. This is a home daily position with consistent miles, steady pay, and year-round work delivering to retail store locations. Drivers must be comfortable with night driving, weekends, and physical unloading.

Pay & Compensation

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,350
• Annual Earnings: Up to $70,000
• Mileage Pay (based on experience):
• • 0–12 months: $0.56 CPM
  • 12–36 months: $0.58 CPM
  • 37–60 months: $0.60 CPM
  • 61+ months: $0.62 CPM
• Stop Pay: $20 per stop
• Unload Pay: $55 per trailer
• Breakdown Pay: $15/hour
• Detention Pay: $15/hour (after 2 hours)
• Training Pay: $100/day (1–2 day ride-along)

Schedule & Home Time

• Home Daily
• 2 consecutive days off each week
• Start Times: 9:00 PM – 4:00 AM
• Work includes:
• • Nights
  • Weekends
  • Holidays (as part of regular schedule)
• Required to work a 6th day during the week before a holiday

Route & Freight Details

• Operating Area: IN, OH, IL
• Average Miles: 1,700 – 2,000 miles/week
• Freight: Dry & refrigerated groceries
• Stops: 2–5 per route (may run multiple routes daily)
• Delivery Type: 100% touch freight using electric pallet jack

Job Duties

• Deliver groceries to retail store locations
• Unload pallets using motorized pallet jack into store backrooms
• Maintain delivery schedules and safe operations
• Work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment

Equipment

• Newer model day cab trucks
• Slip-seat operation
• Must have reliable personal transportation to and from DC daily

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Must live within 60 miles of Shelbyville, IN (46176)
• Ability to perform physical unloading
• Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays
• Cannot currently be on or recently departed (within 6 months) from restricted carriers
